About the role:
A full-time position has become available for an experienced administration assistant to work in the sales office of Jewelcast.
This position is entirely administrative. It involves assisting customers with everything from placing orders to getting items dispatched as part of the busy sales office team. We are seeking an individual with strong customer service communication, and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate should be a team player with a keen eye for detail, capable of working under pressure, and adhering to stringent administation processes.
Responsibilities:
- Order entry
- Processing of incoming and outgoing post.
- Responding to customer queries by email or over the phone and in person.
- Liaising and working closely with other departments
Requirements:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- A keen eye for detail
- Customer service experience

Quality Control Assistant

About the role:
An exciting opportunity has come up within our Quality Control Department.
The position will be working with precious metal castings to make sure they are thoroughly checked to a high standard before sending out to our customers. The role will require a variety of skills, to see the castings through from start to finish. Lazer welding and bench skills will be needed through this process. There is an element of administrative work, when booking orders out at the final stage. The ideal candidate should be a team player with a keen eye for detail, capable of working under pressure, and good at problem solving.
Responsibilities:
- Cutting/ sawing castings
- Matching castings to orders
- Laser welding and repairing castings
- Quality control of castings
- Problem solving and investigating technical problems
- Working with a variety of precious metals
- Administration duties- booking out orders and weighing metal
Requirements:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Bench Skills
- Laser welding experience (this training can be given if not already experienced)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced team environment
- Knowledge of the industry would be a benefit

An exciting opportunity has come up within our 3D Printing Department. Our rapidly growing team are responsible for the production of high-quality waxes/resins for casting.
This position is primarily administrative. It involves assisting customers with placing orders for their custom designs (please note that this is not a CAD design role). While familiarity with the lost wax casting process and Matrix software is preferred, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided. We are seeking an individual with strong customer service, communication, and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate should be a team player with a keen eye for detail, capable of working under pressure, and adhering to stringent manufacturing processes.

Experienced CAD Designer

About the role:
We are rapidly expanding our CAD design team and are looking for an experienced CAD designer to join us. If you have 5+ years industry experience as a CAD designer, we are interested in hearing from you!
Candidates will need to be able to produce CAD files quickly and efficiently, and to a high standard using MatrixGold/Rhino software. Knowledge of creating CAD files for jewellery manufacturing and mass production is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Creating one-off bespoke designs, alongside designs suitable for moulding and mass production.
- Creating CAD files for manufacturing by following detailed design briefs.
- Organising customer files and folders with corresponding references and tracking information.
- Creating manufacturing renders, technical drawings, and photo-realistic renders for website use.
- Communicating with customers via email or phone when design/manufacturing advice is needed.
- Occasionally speaking with customers in person to offer design and manufacturing advice.
- Liaise with other departments and team members when orders involve multiple processes.
- Assist in the training of junior CAD designers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years industry experience
- Excellent knowledge of Rhino 3D and MatrixGold
- Understanding of jewellery production and manufacturing for trade
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate efficiently and confidently within a team and with customers
- Knowledge of CAD file supporting for 3D printing would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills
